He was shown to his US National Champion Senior Stallion victory by Gareth A. Selwood, when owned by Dave & Gloria Hennen. Santiago, a 5th generation halter champion, is sire to several of our young horses and foals including, Salamanca BA, Santa Valentina, Arial De la Mar, S'Amourache, and San Angelina.

	Saphiro Umbaba x Epoca Imported Cremello Lusitano Stallion Imported from Germany, Saphiro is a 1999 cremello Lusitano stallion, measuring 16hh. He has been inspected and approved to be included in the Portuguese Studbook. Saphiro is the 2002 US National Champion Portuguese Jr Stallion and winner of the Best Movement Medal, awarded by Arsenio Cordeiro. He is also the NW 2002 Andalusian Jr Stallion Halter Champion and Best Movement winner. Saphiro is from some of the top breeding of athletic sport Lusitanos. "His lines come from the best of the best in Portugal," as stated by Francisco Bessa de Carvalho, who is Senior Rider at the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art, Director of Quinta da Fonta Santa and a noted breeder. Saphiro's sire, Umbaba, was ridden in dressage by Luis Valenca of the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art. Umbaba was also the 1983 National Champion in Portugal. Saphiro's dam, Epoca, is from the noted Portuguese breeder, Irmaos Olivera. Saphiro is the sire of Selwood Park Sintra (2006 buckskin filly out of Melodica) and Selwood Park Barius (a rare 3/4 Andalusian buckskin pinto colt out of Selwood Park Deneuve). Our mare AA Despierta is bred to Saphiro for a 2010 foal.
